Our Legal Aid section provides individually sourced legal services and specialized programs for survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and other forms of violence. The Sexual Harassment and Assault Resource Exchange (SHARE) is a legal service offered by the Human Rights Legal Support Centre and provides free, confidential legal advice about legal and non-legal options to all Ontario workers experiencing workplace sexual harassment, workplace-related sexual assault, and gender-based harassment in the workplace to help them make informed decisions about addressing experiences of sexual harassment in the workplace.
SHARE helps workers with:
- Legal rights at work, related to sexual harassment, sexual assault, and gender-based harassment at work
- Legal options
- Income support/maintenance options available
- Referrals to appropriate legal professionals and organizations
- Referrals to sexual violence supports and other non-legal resources
SHARE legal services are available to all workers in Ontario regardless of age, immigration status, and income.
